Ms. Allissa Wright
Principal & Teacher
Allissa is a New England native, who grew up in Danville, Vermont. Allissa has attended Seventh-day Adventist schools all of her life and has a passion for true Christian education.
Ms. Wright started college at Union College in Lincoln, Nebraska for her freshman year, and then did a semester in England at Newbold College. After spending a semester in England, Allissa served as an Assistant Girls’ Dean at Mount Pisgah Academy. After her year of being a dean, Allissa transferred to Southern Adventist University in Collegedale, Tennessee. Allissa graduated from Southern in 2017 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education and a minor in History. Within her years at Adventist schools, Allissa learned how to have a close, personal relationship with God. She also learned the value of having a diverse learning experience. She is currently pursuing a master’s degree in Special Education.
Allissa felt a calling toward education when she was in high school. She had many chances to work with young people, from being a teacher’s aide in high school and college and also working at summer camp. She also had many teachers who played a positive role in her life, and encouraged her to pursue an education degree. Allissa uses many teaching styles to meet the needs of all of her students, and loves infusing God and nature in her teaching. She also has a passion for reading!
Growing up in the northeast, Allissa has always loved the outdoors and enjoys hiking with her golden retriever Sadie, snowboarding, snowmobiling and running. Allissa also loves to travel and see new parts of the world. Allissa has eight nieces and nephews who she loves to spend as much time as possible with.
Professor of Music - Violin, Viola, Voice, and Beginning PianoGlee is the Director of Music and Co-founder of the Charlestream School of Music. He was also a founding member of the New England Youth Ensemble, directed by Virginia-gene Rittenhouse and performed internationally with them for 10 years. He studied viola with Dr. Priscilla Hallberg who taught the D.C. Dounis (1893-1954) technique. Dr. Dounis was one of the most influential violin pedagogues of the twentieth century. Glee studied choral conducting and under Donald Neuen, who is currently the conductor for the Crystal Catherdral Choir in CA. Mr. Charlestream studied voice with the Internationally known Mr. Bill Reed and Piero Bonamico currently the Music Director of the Flynn Center for the Performing Arts’ show choir and musical theater programs.
Mr. Charlestream is currently conducting beginning, intermediate and advance string ensembles. He specializes in teaching tonal vibrato performance training on the violin and viola. He also teaches private voice lessons and beginning piano.
Pr. David Kim
Pr. Kim leads out in weekly chapel for the class and is also available for Bible studies with individual children.
