Ellen Busl

Principal & Teacher

Ms. Ellen Busl was born in Boston, Massachusetts and earned her B.A. (French/Education) from Assumption College (1976). Ms. Busl received her M.Ed. (Education Leadership & Administration) from Atlantic Union College (2009).  Ms. Busl enjoys downhill & cross country skiing, hiking, camping, fiber arts, and music.  Her interests also include French conversation and cuisine.

Ms. Busl has taught in Seventh-day Adventist schools for 23 years and 6 years in other private schools. Ms. Busl has been a member of the Northern New England Board of Education as well as the Teacher’s Advisory Committee.  Her teaching credentials from the North American Division of Seventh-day Adventist Education include the following: Professional Elementary Education (Grades 1-8), and History, English, French, Spanish, Art (Grades 9-10).  Ms. Busl also has teaching credentials from the State of New Hampshire in Elementary Education (K- 8th Grade), with endorsements for Highly Qualified Teacher (HQT) and School Administration.

Professor of Music - Violin, Viola, Voice, and Beginning Piano

Glee is the Director of Music and Co-founder of the Charlestream School of Music.  He was also a founding member of the New England Youth Ensemble, directed by Virginia-gene Rittenhouse and performed internationally with them for 10 years.  He studied viola with Dr. Priscilla Hallberg who taught the D.C. Dounis (1893-1954) technique. Dr. Dounis was one of the most influential violin pedagogues of the twentieth century.  Glee studied choral conducting and under Donald Neuen, who is currently the conductor for the Crystal Catherdral Choir in CA.  Mr. Charlestream studied voice with the Internationally known Mr. Bill Reed and Piero Bonamico currently the Music Director of the Flynn Center for the Performing Arts’ show choir and musical theater programs.

Mr. Charlestream is currently conducting beginning, intermediate and advance string ensembles. He specializes in teaching tonal vibrato performance training on the violin and viola. He also teaches private voice lessons and beginning piano.

Edward Bryan

Pastor Edward Bryan is a graduate of Southern Adventist University, where he earned a degree in Theology. He has been involved in youth ministry for the last 8 years, and has taught for two of those years. He has a passion for seeing young people grow academically, socially, and spiritually. He currently serves as the Senior Pastor of the Plainfield/Claremont/Rutland SDA Church District.

 

Pastor Ed leads out in a weekly chapel for the students.  He is also available for individual Bible studies and other spiritual aspects of your child’s education.

Vannessa leads our Home & School program, coordinating fundraisers and fun events for the students.  

Robert Wilson

Professor of Music - Piano

Robert Wilson brings many years of professional and educational piano playing experience.  He accompanies our choir and teaches beginning to advanced piano lessons.
